On Saturday Everton will host the league leaders Leicester City and Goodison Park will be buzzing for sure. Everton come into this game unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions. The Toffees are full of confidence playing well and in Romelu Lukaku they have one of the best strikers in England right now. Lukaku has now scored in eight games in a row in the league an has twelve goals already this season, three behind league leader Jamie Vardy who will be suited up with the opposition on Saturday. Everton manager Roberto Martinez may be a slight bit worried at Everton's inability to finish off games but the blues do look like a team that are going in the right direction and will be desperately battling for a Champions League spot this season in a season when it looks more wide open than ever before.
Leicester's fairytale continued on Monday night when they beat Chelsea 2-1 a game that cost Jose Mourhino his job. Claudio Ranieri has done a magnificent job in getting the best out of the squad he inherited and they are playing brilliant football right now. Leicester play to their strengths, give up possession and hit teams on the counter attack. In football in general when you give up possession you give up the advantage but Leicester are third or fourth last in possession states but top of the table in terms of points won. Leicester players believe in each other and the team gives 100% for every minute of every game, while Vardy and Mahrez maybe the star men at the moment they dont act like primmadonna's and they put in just as much work as everyone else. This team believes in itself and maybe it's time that we the betting public started believing too. 16/1 about Leicester winning the title while they are currently top. Has to be value in that. But that aside Leicester are massive underdogs here again on Saturday , surely at this stage they deserve the respect to be at least a coin flip here with Everton?
So based on the belief that the Leicester players have in themselves and the performances I have seen from teh foxes this season I'm going to back Leicester to get the win here in Goodison. Also with Manchester City and Arsenal playing each other this weekend there is a chance that Leicester extend their lead at the top of the table if they can take all three point here.
