Everton vs Leicester City 19 Dec 2015: EPL Preview and Predictions
19 December 2015/ 1000ET
Everton and Goodison Park will need to brace themselves this weekend as the league leaders, Leicester City come to play. This game is set to be a cracker and in my opinion it will be a very close encounter. Everton have been playing well lately but they have failed to win matches and losing points like they have been is making it tough for them to stay close to the Europa League spots. Leicester City on the other hand has been like a train running over anyone in their path. Both teams have good players and I am really looking forward to this match.
In my opinion this game will be dictated by two things. The first thing is how well Leicester City can defend. Everton will probably dominate the midfield and with players like Ross Barkley, they will create many chances for their strikers. If Leicester can withstand the storm of chances that Everton will attempt to create, then they have a real chance of winning this game.
The second game defining aspect will come in the form of the counter attack. With Everton spending a huge amount of time on the ball, they will need to be wary of getting hit on the counter attack. Leicester have been great at this all season and if the break is on, Jamie Vardy almost always finishes the job. This is an aspect of Leicester’s game that nobody has managed to stop yet and I think that Roberto Martinez and his men will have their work cut out.
Overall I honestly think that this game is too tight to call. Leicester are the team in form while Everton are a good side who will have the advantage of being at home. This game could go either way. That being said I am going to put money on this match simply because of how the odds have been given. Leicester City are big underdogs and I don’t think that is correct. I think putting money on Leicester is profitable but considering how close this game is, I will take that draw no bet option. This is still paying at 2.37 which is a robbery in my opinion so that is the way I will be going.
