Newcastle vs Aston Villa 19 Dec 2015: EPL Preview and Predictions
19 December 2015/ 1230ET
Newcastle will be playing host to Aston Villa this weekend in the English Premier League. This is one of the most important games of the season for both teams since it is a genuine opportunity to get three points, in an attempt to avoid relegation. Both teams are struggling this year and are in real need of a win and a move up the table.
Newcastle were the worst team by far at the start of the season but there has been a slight sign of improvement. This team managed to get three points against Spurs in their last match and that is a good sign for the club. I think that win will give this side a lot of belief in this match and they will look to take full advantage of it as will the home crowd who will be right behind the team. St James Park is a tough place for any opposition and it will be the same for Aston Villa. The crowd is really vocal and I expect Newcastle to build a lot of momentum of their supporter.
Aston Villa will need to shut up the crowd it they want to stand a chance of winning this match. That being said, Villa have been playing very poorly this season and they deserve their spot at the bottom of the table. This side has failed to win games and that has been due to their lack of attacking creativity as well their shaky defense. I believe that Aston Villa will be relegated this season and they will support my case this weekend since I don’t see them leaving St James Park with anything other than a loss.
Newcastle come into this game as favorites and I honestly think they deserve it. Villa are a poor side and Newcastle are improving. That being said I don’t think that they deserve to the price we are getting since they are only at 2.00. This is not a bad price but I think that we should be getting a better one considering how close the two teams are on the EPL ladder. With that in mind I will still be betting on the outright result since I think it is the most profitable play because the other odds are worse. Newcastle should win so this is a pretty safe gamble in my opinion so perhaps it’s a place where you can put your usual bet.
