Our favourite underdog Leicester City play host to Manchester City on Tuesday with a one point lead at the top of the Premier League. Leicester took a tough loss on aturday to Liverpool in a game that they simply did not play well in , Liverpool deserved the win, just about but yet again Leicester proved that they should not be written off by the bookmakers as they have been all year. Mahrez and Vardy were not at their sharpest against Liverpool while Leicester struggled to defend against Benteke, Couthino and the work rate of Liverpool who matched Leicester's own hard work. On Tuesday Leicester will take on another top team in Manchester City but Manchester City have had some defensive struggles of late and I think that Vardy and Mahrez will get some joy against City especially now that Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany will be out again through injury.
One thing for sure though is the return of Sergio Aguero has a huge impact on Manchester City. Aguero started against Arsenal but was only fit for an hour, he was rested at the weekend against Sunderland but I expect the Argentine striker to start on Tuesday. With DE Bruyne, Silva and Sterling in behind Aguero this is a talented attacking quartet. Manchester City are going to put up the greatest challenge to Arsenal, Leicester and anyone else looking to win the Premier League title. City have been Champions twice in the last four years and I expect them to be the experienced side in this run in.
While Manchester City obviously have the squad depth and Leicester are having a fairytale season, this is going to be a tough game to call. Leicester are being constantly written off and with the exception of the Liverpool game the Foxes have proven time and again to be capable of holding their own against the big boys. I'm taking the draw here, I think Leicester will get something from this game and could even hit City on the break like Arsenal did two weeks ago.
