With Roma falling down the league table this visit to Chievo becomes a must win for the Capital's side, the question is can they get their first away win since October's victory over Fiorentina? Roma have talented throughout their squad with loanee's from Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City in the form of Scezny, Salah and Dzeko there is talent and goals but the team seems to struggled to gel and the results have just not been good. Roma have won just one of their last eight games and have won away just once in their last six away games. Pjanic has been the most iimpressive perfromer this season alongside Salah with Gervinho scoring some goals but also guilty of some bad misses. Dzeko has struggled since his loan move and has not found the net as much as would have been expected. Francesco Totti has been an observer most of the season with just three appearances and the team needs some leaders to step up.
After a rough September and October Chievo have turned things around recently with three wins in their last five appearances. The team is still struggling for goals with just twenty one this season but Paloshi, Meggioria and Inglese can be a handful on their day with Birsa chipping in with the occasional goal from midfield. Chievo's defence has been decent this season though and they have conceded just eighteen goals all year. Chievo have struggled against the top sides at home losing by just a solitary goal to both Napoli and Inter Milan. I think Chievo will fancy their chances here though against a Roma team that are really struggling themselves.
Going to take the draw here. Roma's away form is just too poor for me to take them as favourites on the road and I think we are getting some value on the draw.
