The Bundesliga is back on Friday night and Bayern Munich the current Champions and League leaders kick off the second half with a trip to Hamburger. Obviously Bayern Munich are heavy favourites as they are in every game they are going to play in the Bundesliga this year. With Muller, Lewandowski and Robben there is a suprememly talented front three here and Bayern's midfield of Vidal, Costa, Alonso has so much attacking talent it is very tough to see anyone stopping this side. Bayern have been a little bit fallible on the road though and have won only three of their last five away games in the Bundesliga with a loss at Mochengladbach and a draw at Eintracht Frankfurt. Pep Guardiola will leave Bayern at the end of the season and looks on track to win three league titles in a row an impressive achievement.

Hamburger of course come into this game with little to no pressure. Everyone expects them to lose this game as a bottom half team facing the current league leaders. But Hambrurger have been pretty stubborn and at times tough to beat. With former Tottenham midfielder Holtby being the key player going forward and former Bayern striker Olic and Lasogga up front Hamburg have players who can hurt Bayern on the counter attack For me there is little value in taking Bayern to get the win here but Hamburg on the half time handicap looks a decent bet. Hamburg will also want to avenge their 5-0 hammering earlier in the season. That was a game in which Hamburg were well in it until the conceded early in the second half and then they fell apart.

I am going to take Hamburg +1.5 on the half time market. I think Hamburg can actually keep this level until the half but taking the goal and a half head start makes sense.
