Action from the Britannia Stadium on Saturday will see Stoke City take on relegation battling Aston Villa. Aston Villa are eight points from safety but that is a hell of a lot better than where they were a few weeks back when Remi Gardetook over. Villa really look like team that is destined to be relegated , even if they close the gap on Norwich I think the team above them (Sunderland, Newcastle) are going to be able to pick up points to stay ahead. This is a very tough game for Aston Villa as Stoke City are a very tough team to play especially at the Britannia and Villa are missing top scorer Andre Ayew who is suspended. Gestede and Agbonlahor will be key figures here but just not sure they will be able to break down Stoke's defence.
Stoke City have a terrific home record with wins over both Manchester Clubs and draws with Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City. The potters have alot of quality going forward with Shaqiri, Walters, Bojan, Affelay, Arnautovic and Diouf. As a team stoke play very well for each other and Mark Hughes side work extremely hard especially at home where their home crowd is very passionate. At the back they are led by Ryan Shawcross with the brilliant Jack Butland in goal. Stoke City have won seven of their last 12 at home although they have only won one of their last five overall.
Cant look past Stoke City here, just feel that Stoke have the better side and are much better balanced, in addition Aston Villa are missing Ayew and he has been their best player for most of the season. Taking the Potters to get the win at home in what should be an entertaining game.
