After Thursday's impressive win over Fiorentina we will get to see Tottenham go back to focusing on their League title bid when they take on Swansea on Sunday. Tottenham have had a fantastic campaign and while there is no doubt that Leicester City are the fairytale, a win for Tottenham is not too far off fairytale status. Pochettino has come in to Tottenham and completely changed their mindset, Spurs now believe they can not only beat the top teams but they are consistantly beating the lower teams in the league as well. Harry Kane is the key man up front for Spurs and he has again been a pretty lethal goal scorer aain this season, the addition of Son was a prudent and clever one. With Erikson, Dembele and Lamela providing work rate and creativity this is a team that has few weakness' led by captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris who is the best in the league despite solid claims from De Gea and Courtois. Lloris has been fantastic this season and Tottenham will look to keep the fairytale going here with a game that is a potential Banana skin.
Swansea are just sitting above the relegation zone and they will want a win or two to give themselves some breathing space.Andre Ayew, Gomis and former Tottenham player Sigurddson will be the key men for Swansea. Sigurddson had an unsuccessful time at Tottenham and he was partially unlucky with a number of changes in manager during his time there. Without a doubt one of the most potent goalscoring midfielders in the league these days, Sigurddson's contribution to Swansea will be key if they are to avoid relegation. Ayew has had a terrific first season considering Swanseas struggles and Ayew and Gomis area handful and will occupy Tottenham's back four definitely.
Playing on a Thursday before an important league game is tough and Pochettino rested key players on thursday. I think that we have to expect Tottenham and the White Hart Lane crowd to lift themselves on Sunday though and I am going to take Tottenham to get the win here. The odds are quite tight but I believe it will be a quick start for Tottenham and i am going to take Tottenham to get lead by halftime at evens.
