Trying something a little different this weekend at Sportschatplace with a round up article of some of Europe's biggest leagues. With BArcelona eight points clear in La Liga Barca will be looking to move eleven clear if they can handle a tricky away game. Can Real Madird take adavntage of Atheltico Madrid's slip on Saturday or will Sevilla prove to be too tough for Cristiano Ronaldo and Co?
Real Madrid vs Sevilla (14:30 ET)
Cristiano Ronaldo will look to inspire Real Madrid to victory here, Madrid will be without captain Sergio Ramos and center half Pepe as both are suspended. Ronaldo , Bale, James will be the key men going forward and Real Madrid will take the game to Sevilla at the Bernebeau. Ronaldo has managed to score twenty seven goals this season only one ahead of Suarez and five ahead of his great rival Messi. This is atough game for Real and Ronaldo though as Sevilla have not lost in their last five in all competitions. Sevilla though will be missing Konoplyanko, Nzonzi and Banega on Sunday that may be enough to stretch Sevilla's squad depth. Sevilla will look to Gamerio to take the game to a makeshift MAdrid back four and this could be an interesting game to tune into.
Pick: I think both teams struggle here especially in front of goal. Sevilla are solid defensively and while I think that Real madrid dominate possession I thinkt hey will get it hard to break down Sevilla. I'm taking the draw in this one.
Villareal vs Barcelona( 10:00)
An interesting game and great match up between first an d fourth here. Barcelona have been sensational of late with the team unbeaten in their last thirty eight in all competitions. Barcelona's front three of Neymar, Suarez and Messi have been sensational this season, improving on last season's which was always going to be a tough ask. They face tough trip here to the Camp El Madrigal but with the front three firing on all cylinders it is tough to see anyone even competing with Barcelona , never mind actually beating them. Enrique has done a phenomenal job since taking over here and with Messi taking his game to another level it's very tough to see how anyone will be able to beat the away side here.
Pick: Very tough one to call here, I think there is some value in the home dog here and I am going to take Villareal +1.5 on the first half handicap. This one could be a lot tighter than people expect.
