After an El Classico victory for the ages Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid will travel to Germany to take on Wolfsburg at the Volkswagon Arena.
This one is really a mis match in terms of form and depth of quality. Wolfsburg have struggled terribly over the last few weeks and are looking for their first win in four games. Wolfsburg are struggling at both ends of the game scoring just one goal in their last three and conceding five over that time. Former Chelsea attacker Andre Schurrle along with Julian Draxler and Max Kruse will look to take the game to Real Madrid. Wolfsburg were impressive in the Champions League at times this season, putting in big performances against Manchester United and PSV when needed most. Can the German side pull out another big performance when they need it most against a highly motivated and red hot Real Madrid?
On Saturday Real Madrid went to the Camp Nou and came away with a win despite losing Sergio Ramos to a red card with twenty minutes to go. Gareth Bale was phenomenal on the night setting up both goals for Real and scoring a third which was incorrectly ruled out. Bale has plenty of talent and while he has struggled at times for form with Real he has in general played well in the big games. With Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema also up front it's tough to stop this Madrid team and the aformentioned front three is one of the best in the game up there with Barcelona's famed Suarez, Neymar and Messi trio. Real for me represent the best value of the favoured teams left in the competition at 5/1 and I think they will come through this test against Wolfsburg.
I like Real to win this one outright. It's tough to make a case for Wolfsburg given their drop in form and with Real Madrid picking up a confidence boosting win in the Nou Camp at the weekend I think they will pull away from Wolfsburg. I'm going all in on Real Madrid outright as one of the best plays of the week
