Belgium (5/6) Draw (14/5) Rep Of Ireland (9/2) See the Latest Odds

Belgium had a lot of expectation going into Euro 2016 but unfortunately their campaign got off to a very poor start as they lost to Italy 2-0. That being said, it was not so much that the players played poorly, rather there was no organization which allowed Conte and his men to get the three points. The Belgian national team is incredibly talented and if Marc Wilmott can get his act together and create a solid game plan then I think they can go far. That being said, they have to win this game and I think it will be quite an easy task since they are a country mile above their opponents.

Ireland are not a good side and although they managed to get a draw against Sweden, this side just doesn’t possess the talent in the midfield and that seems to let them down. Up front there is some talent with the likes of Shane Long but he is just not getting enough service as we saw against Sweden and in this game that will mean a lot of problems.

Ireland vs Belgium 18 June 2016: Euro 2016 Preview and Predictions

As far as we are concerned, Belgium should win this game with some ease and in our favor the odds are actually better than expected probably due to the Red Devil’s loss to Italy. That being said, I think the price we are getting is still way too short and as a result I think looking at the number of goals being scored is the much better option. We are getting a good price on the over 2.5 goals here and considering how strong Belgium are going forward, I think this should be an easy bet to win. In addition to this, I think Lukaku will have a good game so putting money on the Everton man to score is also a good option.
