Germany will finish off their group stage against Northern Ireland in a game which has not much meaning for the German side. For the Northern Irish on the other hand, this is a great opportunity for them to get second spot in the group.
Germany have been dominant in this tournament as they have not lost any of their games so far. This side is filled with talent all across the field but the problem is still the in goal scoring and I think they will look to deal with that issue in this game by playing Thomas Muller as more of a striker. Goals will be important in the later stages of this tournament and I think at the moment they are lacking in that particular department.
Northern Ireland are now playing freely since they have already accomplished much more than they would have ever expected. A loss here will make qualification tough so I am expecting a defensive game against them in hope that they can do with Poland did and get a 0-0 draw. That being said, it will be tough for the Northern Irish to do this and it will be impractical to bet on this result.
As far as betting is concerned, there is no reason to bet on a German win since we are getting way too short of a price. The best bet in my opinion is taking the under 2.5 goals. As mention, Germany are struggling to score and Northern Ireland will look to park the bus so this result makes a lot of sense. In addition to this, both teams not to score is also a good bet since I don’t think Northern Ireland will have what it takes to score against this German side.
