Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portugal side will host the Faroe Islands in a European Qualifier for the World Cup. This game is between the European Champions and a team that has never made the World Cup so I think we should get a very one sided game. In addition to that, this game will be in Portugal meaning that it will be even harder for the away side.
The Faroe Islands are not expecting to win and they will know that they have no real chance of making the World Cup. That being said, a win over Portugal will be massive for the entire nation's footballing set-up and as a result, they will be giving everything to this game, I think it will be hard but I think that we can expect a hard fought performance from the visiting team in this game.
On the other side of the coin, we are looking at one of the best teams in the world when it comes to the Portuguese national team. This team is more than just Cristiano Ronaldo. The side also has the likes of Renato Sanchez, Andre Gommes and Andre Silva. This is a dangerous team and they could really cause a lot of trouble to the visiting Faroe Islands in this game.
All in all, I think that it is safe to say the Portugal will win this game and I think that they will win with some ease as well. We are not getting a good price on this bet though and it is actually so poor that betting on it makes no sense at all. I think the best bet is in regards to the number of goals being scored. The over 2.5 goals seem like the right bet since Portugal should score at least 3 goals.
