Greece (51/10) Draw (51/19) Belgium (8/11) See the Latest Odds
The Belgian national football team will be on the road again as they take on Greece in their next qualifier for the World Cup which is in less than 12 months time. The last time these two teams met in Belgium, the game ended in a 1-1 draw and I am sure that the Belgians will want to change that.
Greece is coming off three straight draws in qualifiers and while this is not a terrible result, this side really needs to start picking up some wins. The Greeks got a draw against Estonia a few days ago which was not a good result since that was a game that they would be expecting to win with some ease. This will not be an easy game for the Greek national team since Belgium are a class above them but I think they will need to do well especially since they are at home and are in need of some wins.
Belgium is coming off a massive win where they beat Gibraltar 9-0 at home. While this was a game that the team was expected to win, it is good to see the team in such great form as they head to Greece. This will be a more challenging game that they previous one but they are a much better team than their opponents so I am expecting them to win.
All in all, I am a prediction that Belgium wins this game with some ease. I don’t think we are getting the right price for this bet though so I am going to skip it. We are getting a good price on the under 2.5 goals which seems like a better bet. Greece will play a tight game and be being in Greece for this game, it seems unlikely that Belgium will score many goals so that is my reasoning.
