Man Utd (1/5) Draw (7/1) Basel (20/1) See the Latest Odds
Manchester United will make their return to the Champions League this season and they will do so by facing Swiss side, FC Basel, at Old Trafford. Jose Mourinho and his team are playing some really exciting football and they will hope they can get all three points once again in this game.
FC Basel has not had a really good start to the season and is coming off three straight games without a win. Furthermore, this side was beaten at home in their last game in the Swiss Super League meaning that they are a full three points of the league leaders. This team has recently been having problems scoring goals and they will need to change that if they want to have a chance of getting anything out of this game against Manchester United.

The Red Devils, on the other hand, are looking very strong at the moment. It is important to note that this side dropped points against Stoke City on the weekend but I don’t think that the draw will matter to them greatly. This side is well balanced and that means that they are a very hard team to beat. I expect Mourinho to play a strong side and as a result that could mean a hard outing for FC Basel.
This is Lukaku’s first game in the Champions League for a while and as a result, I think the Belgian superstar will start the campaign off with a bang. We are getting a great price on Lukaku to score so that is a pretty good option for a bet. In addition to that, the over 2.5 goals also look appealing since Manchester United are full of goals and we are getting a good price on the bet. There is no point on betting on the outright results due to poor odds.
