The Saturday evening game will see Swansea travel to London to take on Tottenham at their temporary home in Wembley. Swansea have struggled this season with Paul Clement yet to find his balanced starting line up. The Swans lost Fernando Llorente and Guylfi Sigurddson in the off season and the pair combined for 70% of Swansea's goals last year. Replacing the two will be essential if Swansea are to avoid a drop into the Championship. Returning hero Wilfried Bony should provide some threat up front alongside Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham. The addition of Renato Sanchez from Bayern Munich could be one of the signing's of the year if the Portugese international can deliver on his potential, having struggled to break into the Bayern first team for the last twelve months.
Tottenham struggled last season following Champions League games, of their six games following the group games they won only two. No doubt Pochettino will be mindful of that as they face Swansea on Saturday evening. Tottenham were very close to Chelsea in terms of ability last year but were let down in key games by inexperience. This side is battle hardened and with Harry Kane finding his scoring boots last weekend and again midweek against Borussia Dortmund I would think that Tottenham will be looking to push on here and get another win which could see them move up the table. An early loss to Chelsea and dropped points at home to Burnley is a worrying sign for Spurs fans though.Tottenham have taken one point from two home games in Wembley this season, Tottenham dropped a total of four points in the entirety of last season at White Hart Lane. There is no doubt that the change of home venue has effected the team but with a squad this talented Kane, Alli, Erikson, Dembele, Son, Wanyama surely these early season struggles will be temporary.
The Line here is abit high Tottenham -2 is a tough ask for any team having played an energy sapping Champions League encounter on Wednesday night against a very good Dortmund side. For this reason i'm going to take the Swans on the handicap, I think they can keep this tight and could even nick something from the game
