Can Manchester City make it nine wins in a row when they face a resolute Stoke City side on Saturday at the Ethiad Arena?

Manchester City have been absolutely terrific this season just the one set of dropped points early in the campaign, a draw at home against Everton but the Citizens have been sensational since with eight wins in a row in all competitions since then. The front two fo Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus look terrific together and have ten goals between them to date. This is Pep Guardiola's team playing terrific possession football at it's best and dominating teams. But there have been games this season where City struggled for long periods and their impressive record has some asterix' beside it in particular a very late win against Bournemouth one that was undeserved and a win over Chelsea two weeks ago in a game that they were mostly outplayed.

Manchester City vs Stoke City 10/14/2017 Premier League Preview, Odds & Predictions

Stoke City when they have a full squad are a tough team to break down.At the moment though the Potters look likely to be missing Martins Indi, Shawcross and Allen. Tough to replace leaders like that from squad players. While Stoke will look to play a pressure game while not in possession they will lauch long balls to a focal point that will either be Choupu Moting or Crouch. Diouf will do alot of running on the wings and Shaqiri will provide the inspiration from the midfield. Stoke though look to be outgunned here and while Aguero possibly missing the game is a bonus it's tough to see Stoke getting anything from this game.

There is very little value in the markets here. With Sergio Aguero possibly missing the game through Injury I am going to go with Gabriel Jesus to score 2 or more goals. The young Brazilian looks almost a cert to get a couple of goals as he leads the line for the red hot Manchester City team.
