The game of the weekend in the Premier League will see Manchester United travel to take on arch rivals Liverpool in Anfield in the early morning Premier League kick off.
This is the biggest rivalry in England despite it not being an official derby, the two most successful sides in England Manchester United and Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp has done well in his time in charge of Liverpool especially against the top sides. Liverpool though have struggled of late and have just one win in their last seven after starting the season with four wins in their first five. Liverpool are also missing their most influential attacker as Sadio Mane will miss the game with a hamstring injury. Philip Couthino will be the key to Liverpool's attacking plan and the Brazilian playmaker has the ability to open up any defence but will face a tough task here against a Manchester United defence that have been solid this season. Firminho, Sturridge and Couthinho must find a way to get in behind the defence.
Manchester United come into this game having won nine of their last ten in all competitions. The Red Devils have been in sparkling form this season and Mourhino's team have also found their goal scoring boots. Romelu Lukaku has been a terrific addition scoring at will with seven goals in seven Premier League games. Anthony Martial has also been terrific and has three in six appearances with only one start and five substitute appearances. This is a strong squad they are missing some key players through injury with Pogba, Fellaini and Carrick all injured. This is a huge game for Mourhino as manager, last season when United travellled to Liverpool they basically parked the bus looking for a point and got their draw. Tomorrow the fans and the neutrals will expect United to go at Liverpool from the start and expose this Liverpool backline.
This game is tough to call, on paper obviously Manchester United look like a firm favourite. Liverpool are missing their best attacker in Sadio Mane, but equally Manchester United are missing Pogba from the center of midfield. I think Mourhino has bought players in key positions Lukaku, Matic and Lindelof. He has addressed the main problems United had last season and for that reason I think Manchester United can go to Liverpool and win. While Jurgen Klopp is a terrific manager he has not addressed the defensive issues that plagued Liverpool last season. For this reason taking Manchester United outright would seem the smart pick. A side play I like is on the corners market, corner before the 9th minute available on Bet365 has been a money spinner in most Manchester United games this season
