Everton travel south to take on Brighton at the American Express Community Stadium in the early kickoff on Sunday.
Both teams could use a win here, sitting sixteenth and seventeenth respectively in the table. Ronald Koeman's Everton have been pretty poor on the road, after a good start to the season in which the toffees picked up four points in the first two games , the team has picked up just three more points in the next five. A solitary win at home to a struggling bournemouth. Everton away from home have really struggled losing three of five in all competitions and without a win. Wayne Rooney after scoring two in two has struggled to repeat the opening day magic and looks more and more like the striker that was out of place in Manchester. With Niasse having been brought in from the cold it might be a case for Koeman to drop Rooney and start the striker who has two in two appearances.
Brigton themselves have had a tough time adapting to the Premier League but at home they have fared much better than the road. Six of Brighton's seven points have come at home and they will look to extend their home winning streak to four in all competitions on Sunday. Brighton will be missing experienced mifielder Kayal and top scorer Hemed through suspension. It's a tough ask for Chris Hughton to replace these guys as the strength in depth just isnt there. Gros, Murray and Knockaert will be the key players for Brighton and it will be interesting to see if they can step up to the mark here.
Tough on to call here but with these two teams I cant see many goals being scored. Not a strong play but I am taking the unders here in a game that I can see being won 1-0.
