Borussia Dortmund are all but out of the UEFA Champions League but they will want to play for pride this week as they take on defending champions Real Madrid at the Spanish capital. Both teams have not played as well as they would have liked so I think we should see both teams play determined to get all three points.
Real Madrid will look to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric to provide the class that has worked for them in the past few seasons. This is a game that you would expect Zidane’s team to win but in the current form of the team, the fans would not be feeling very confident.
On the other side of the coin, Borussia Dortmund are also playing very poorly. This is a side that have failed to win and it is largely due to their poor defense. At home they were bad against Spurs and it is unlikely they will be playing much better away from home against a team like Real Madrid. This game does not have much meaning for Borussia Dortmund and as a result I don’t think that we will see a very strong performance for them.
As far as results are concerned, I think that Real Madrid will win at home with some ease. This is the better side and I think they will show their class. We are not getting a good price on this bet so I think it is not worth the wager. The bet I like is the over 2.5 goals. Both teams can score and with the poor Dortmund defense, we should see at least 3 goals.
