Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur meet Tuesday in Premier League soccer at Amex Stadium.
Brighton and Hove Albion could use a victory here after losing three of their last four matches and losing ground quickly in the standings. Brighton and Hove Albion is coming off a rough loss to Crystal Palace in which it allowed 15 shot attempts and only got three shots on target despite controlling the ball 49.9 percent of the time. Brighton and Hove Albion has had trouble finishing matches so far this season and can prove to be sloppy on the defensive end. While the struggles have been real, a victory here would certainly improve this teams confidence while helping them separate from the rest of the bottom of the pack. Glenn Murray leads Brighton with 12 goals, Pascal Groß has eight assists and Jose Izquierdo has 46 shots.

Tottenham Hotspur has been one of the hotter teams in the league but could use a bounce back performance after losing on Saturday to Man City, 3-1. Tottenham Hotspur struggled to prevent quality looks in the losing effort and dug themselves an early hole that was too steep to climb out of. The good news is that Tottenham Hotspur hasn’t lost back-to-back PL matches in quite some time and remains one of the more balanced teams with an offense that hasn’t been shutout since November 18. Harry Kane leads the Spurs with 25 goals, Bamidele Alli has 10 assists and Christian Eriksen has 85 shots.
Tottenham Hotspur won the last meeting back in December by a score of 2-0. In the victory, Tottenham Hotspur dominated position by 75.1 percent while getting eight of 25 shots on target. Brighton and Hove Albion was simply controlled from start to finish in the match.
I’m never a fan of laying big juice in matches, but there’s no reason to bet against the Spurs given their current form. Tottenham Hotspur has been nothing but impressive the last couple months and usually bounces back from a loss with the quickness. Brighton has been inconsistent at both ends of the field this season and is sure to struggle against one of the better teams yet again. I’ll take Brighton in a comfortable road victory.
