Barcelona and Real Sociedad meet Sunday in La Liga soccer action at Estadio Camp Nou.
Barcelona enters this match with an overall record of 27-9-1, a 15-3-0 record at home and a 12-6-1 record on the road. Barcelona already has the title wrapped up but I’m sure wants to redeem itself after giving up five goals against Levante in its last match. Despite controlling the ball for 65 percent of the match, Barcelona allowed five goals, and had many scratching their heads. There’s also some outside noise considering Messi didn’t play in the shocking loss but did make time to play in a friendly against South Africa. We could get an angry and motivated Barcelona this time around, which could be a sight for the home team. Then again, we could also get a team that has really nothing to play for now that the title is wrapped up and there’s no longer a chance to finish the season undefeated. Messi leads Barcelona with 34 goals, Luis Suarez has 25 goals and Paulinho has nine goals.

Real Sociedad enters this match with an overall record of 14-7-16, a 10-3-6 record at home and a 4-4-10 record on the road. Real Sociedad heads into its final match on fire, winning five of its last seven matches and earning points in six of its last eight matches. Of course, Real Sociedad has had more than its fair share of struggles on the road, but this should be a confident bunch eager to finish things with another big victory. Real Sociedad has found its groove offensively, scoring three or more goals in four of its last seven matches and has earned points in five straight matches when at least scoring once. The Whites and Blues are putting together some consistent play down the home stretch. Willian Jose leads Real Sociedad with 15 goals, Mikel Oyarzabal has 12 goals and Juanmi has eight goals.
Barcelona has won the last four meetings against Real Sociedad, which includes a 4-2 win back in January. The last three meetings between these clubs have produced no less than five goals.
This line is crazy steep, but for good reason. Yes, Real Sociedad is playing well and has finished the season strong, but Barcelona has proven its head and shoulders the best team in the league when its motivated. With the way the last match turned out and ruined a shot at history, you can expect an angry club looking to release some frustration.
Barcelona is likely to put up a crooked number in this game.
