The FA Community Shield is the first competitive football for the English season and this year the title will be fought out between Manchester City and Chelsea. Both teams will look to start their season with a victory and that should ensure that we get a great game of football.
This will be the first competitive game for the new Chelsea manager and he will know that winning this match will be a great chance for the crowd to get behind the team. It was a very poor 2017/2018 season for Chelsea and they will know that things must improve or there will be drastic changes made by the owner. As it currently stands, Eden Hazard is still a Chelsea player and I am expecting him to play in this match since it looks like his transfer to Real Madrid has fallen apart. Thibaut Courtois will not play in this game since he has asked for a transfer away from the club. Willian will also be absent as he has taken an extended holiday after the World Cup.

On the other side of the coin, Manchester City are a well-oiled machine. The Sky Blues are looking like a really good team and it is expected that the top players will be playing this match. This team is filled with incredible talent and they will be desperate to win as many titles as possible so this is a game which all the players will want to win. The 2017/2018 season was very good for Manchester City and they will look for a repeat this season.
All in all, I am expecting this to be a good match with Manchester City winning. The Sky Blues are the better side and Chelsea seem way too disorganized to compete with the champions. We are getting a decent price on Manchester City winning so that is the wager which I am going to suggest.
