Leicester City FC and Aston Villa FC face off in a Premier League matchup on Monday at King Power Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM Eastern time.

Leicester City currently sits with 50 points which is good enough for third place in the standings. The Foxes got out to a fast start to the season but they haven’t been as strong as of late losing each of their last two games in the Premier League.

One of the big issues for Leicester CIty has been scoring goal, not finding the back of the net in any of their last three games in league play.

The good news for Leicester CIty in this game is Jamie Vardy is fit to return and that could be the key if they want to win this game.

Aston Villa has only picked up 25 points this season which puts them in 19th place in the Premier League, and two points away from safety. Aston Villa still has a bit of time to turn it around, but they need to try and pick up at least one point in this game.

Aston Villa also comes into this game really struggling having lost the last four games in a row across all contests.

Aston Villa’s last game in the Premier League was on February 22nd, losing to Southampton 2-0. Aston Villa had over 50 percent of the possession, but they only had one shot on target, compared to the nine that Southampton attempted.

Even if Aston Villa doesn’t control the possession in this game they need to put the ball on net as much as possible.

Aston Villa beat Leicester City  2-1 in the League Cup in late January

Even if Vardy plays in this game Leicester City isn’t going run up the score but their defense will lock down again. Look for this game to go under the posted total.
