Levante is hosting Real Betis at Estadio Camilo Cano in round 32 of Spanish LaLiga.
Levante has been decent since the restart and they lost only 1 game of their last 4. During this stretch, Levante has conceded at least 1 goal in all 4 of those games, while they scored in 3 of said 4 games. Levante is in 11th place in the standings with 38 points, and they are safely outside the relegation zone. Offensively, Levante has been decent this season with 37 scored goals in 31 games, while they conceded 44 goals, could be better, but it’s not the worst in LaLiga. With 11 goals, Marti Roger has scored 11 goals for Levante this season, while Mayoral added 6 goals. Jose Campana added 6 assists. Ivan Lopez is the only injured player for Levante. In their last LaLiga match against Atletico Madrid at home, Levante has had more possession, 56%, 10 corner kicks, 85% of the correct passes, but in the category that matters the most, Levante has had 0 shots on goal in this game. Levante has lost this match 0-1. Levante will not get to the Europa League because they don’t have the quality to do that, but they will stay in LaLiga next season as well, and that is what matters the most to Levante.
Betis hasn’t been playing well since the restart, but they have finally won a game a few days ago against Espanyol. Betis was the better team in that match with 65% of ball possession, 6 shots on goal, 6 corner kicks, and 84% of the correct passes. Early in the second half, Bartra has scored a goal for Betis after the corner kick and Betsi was able to win this game 1-0. I think that everyone in Betis was expecting a much better season because they have a fantastic team, but somewhere along the road, Betis has failed to utilize their potentials and that’s why they are in 13th place with only 37 points. Don’t get me wrong, Betis was good offensively with 41 scored goals, but it’s not enough to compensate for their lousy defense this season. Betis has conceded 48 goals so far. Loren Moron is till the leading goal scorer for Betis with 9 goals, while Joaquin added 8 goals, and Fekir has 7 goals. Moreno, Emerson, and Canales have 5 assists each. Garcia and Joaquin are still questionable for this game as they are recovering from an injury. So many potentials in this team, maybe it’s the problem with coaching, maybe it’s something else, but Betis has to figure out what is bothering them and get back on track as soon as possible.
Betis hasn’t won any of their last 7 away games, while they lost their last three straight games on the road. I know that Betis has more quality in their roster, but their latest victory is not enough to blindly back Betis. These are the teams that are not scoring a lot of goals, and for that reason, I will give it a shot at a draw.
