Parma is hosting Inter at Ennio Tardini in part of round 28 in Italian Serie A.
Parma is a nice team that has had some fantastic results this season, and thanks to that, Parma is in a fantastic 7th place with 39 points, just 3 points away from the Europa League. Since the restart of the season, Parma has played 2 games, and they have 1 draw and 1 win, with 5 scored goals, and only 2 conceded goals. In their latest Serie A match against Genoa on the road, Parma has had an excellent game with 44% of ball possession, 7 shots on goal, 3 corner kicks, and 82% of the correct passes. Parma has scored 4 goals from 7 shots on goal and has won this game 1-4. Cornelius is Parma’s top goalscorer with 11 goals, while Kulusevski added 6 goals and 7 assists. Iacoponi is suspended because of yellow cards, while Grassi and Adorante are still questionable because of an injury. Whether or not Parma ends up in the Europa League spot, this season is fantastic for them and they can be extremely proud of their work and they deserved every good thing that is happening to them. I would like to see Parma singing a few more players, and to have even better next season.
Inter is in third place in the standings with 58 points, huge 11 points behind Juventus at the top, and I think that their title race is over. Inter has played three games since the restart, one in the Coppa Italia semifinals where they got knocked out by Napoli, and two games in Serie A. Inter’s first game in Serie A since the restart was a success and they won 2-1, but the second one didn’t go as planned. Inter was playing against Sassuolo in that match and has had 47% of ball possession, 9 shots on goal, 7 corner kicks, and 88% of accurate passes. Inter had the lead twice in this game, but in the end, this match ended in a 3-3 draw. Inter has scored 54 goals in 27 games, an average of 2 goals per game, and their defense has been solid with only 28 conceded goals, but the problem is that Inter is losing points where they shouldn’t this season and that is the main reason why they are this far from Juventus. Lukaku is having a great season and has scored 19 goals, while Martinez added 12 goals. Antonio Candreva added 7 assists. Sensi is injured, Skrinar is suspended because of the yellow cards, while Brozovic and Vecino are still questionable. Inter has had some problems with consistency this season, and if they want to have a chance at winning the title, coach Conte must get these things under control as soon as possible.
Without overthinking this, I expect goals on both sides here. Inter is without their starting defender in Skrinar, while Parma is scoring a nice amount of goals as of late. I will give it a shot at goals in this game.
