Sunday’s soccer slate across the big three leagues still in play (EPL, Serie A, La Liga) have a total of 18 games on Sunday, including the final matchday of the La Liga season, surely there’s some value to be found?
Atletico Madrid/Getafe Draw +195
Atletico are the kings of the draw this season as one of three La Liga sides with a league-high 15 draws this season and a top-4 finish is guaranteed for the Rojiblancos. On the other hand, Sociedad need a point to aid in their attempt to hold onto a Europa League spot for next year and a point would go a long way in aiding that. Three points would be better for Sociedad but they’ve been so inconsistent since the restart I can’t get myself to take a shot on the ML.
Leganes ML +185 vs. Real Madrid
I know you probably think I’m crazy, but hear me out. Madrid has nothing left to play for except to finish perfect since the La Liga restart and I don’t know about you but I’d sacrifice that if it meant giving key players a chance to rest with a Champions League second leg against Manchester City on tap. Leganes need a victory to have a chance at safety and they’ve picked up four straight clean sheets with three wins and a draw in that stretch. The line being as close as it is tells me Leganes has a shot here.
Leicester/Tottenham Draw +245
Anything but a win for Leicester affords Manchester United a chance to overtake the Foxes in the top four and I’m sure Leicester knows that. However, the issue is that they’re playing a Tottenham team that’s in form right now and just isn’t going to roll over to begin with. I could easily see a 1-1 game here.
Sampdoria ML +155 vs. Parma
Two teams with not a whole lot to play for here, but Sampdoria’s still in sniffing distance of the drop zone and a win would go a long ways towards their safety this season. Samp’s also won 4 of their last 5 while Parma’s gone winless in their last 6 games with just one draw, and leaving 17 of 18 points on the table isn’t going to do you any good anywhere. I’ll take Sampdoria with the decent sized plus money here.
AS Roma ML +215 vs. Inter Milan
Romelu Lukaku is going to miss this game for Inter, and as the team’s top goalscorer, that’s a big blow. Plus, Inter’s last three wins came against Spal, Torino and Brescia, three teams in the bottom six and two of which are last and second last place in the league. Roma’s in solid form of their own and they need this win more to keep a grip on their Europa League spot. I’ll take a shot with Roma ML here.
