Crystal Palace host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, July 26th at Selhurst Park on the final day of the 2019/20 English Premier League season.
Crystal Palace have had nothing to play for in a while and this has shown in their recent performances, losing their last 7 matches. Palace are safe from relegation and really cannot make any other positions in the league which are of any value. This is the last game of the season and I am sure that most, if not all, of the Palace players are looking to spend some time off and go on holidays as borders are opening back up. I would be shocked if Crystal Palace gives it their all here and shocks a Tottenham Hotspur team which desperately needs these 3 points in order to stay in a strong position to make the Europa League for next season.
Tottenham Hotspur have been giving it their all in their recent performances, giving it one final push to make it to the Europa League. Most recently, Tottenham absolutely dominated against Leicester City in what was expected to be an incredibly tight match. Tottenham won that match 3-0 and showed us that they are going to give it their all to make the Europa League. Tottenham are 7th in the league, one point behind Wolves, and they will be hoping both for Wolves to lose or draw on Sunday, and for themselves to take care of business at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace.
The reverse fixture between these two sides ended in a dominant 4-0 victory for Tottenham Hotspur. I do not see any change in this result as Tottenham really need these points to ensure their strong ability to make the Europa League either if Wolves loses or draws, or if Chelsea wins the FA Cup. Expect Jose Mourinho's men to give it their all and get all 3 points here at Selhurst Park. I expect this to be a 2-0 or 3-0 scoreline, but to be safe it seems like a good option to take Tottenham Hotspur to win by 2 goals at -115.
