Leicester City host Manchester United on the final day of the 2019/20 Premier League season! It is going to be an extremely tight encounter at King Power Stadium as both teams aim to secure Champions League qualification on the final day, but who will come out on top?
Manchester United were appalling earlier in the week against West Ham United. Manchester United should have won that game easily, but a Paul Pogba handball gave West Ham the lead in the first half. United were able to steal a point by a Mason Greenwood scremer in the 51st minute, but after that the game was just stale. United are now in 3rd, one point ahead of Leicester City in 5th. If United slip up here again and lose this match, then its lights out for their Champions League hopes for next season. Will United get back on track after a couple terrible performances, or will the foxes take advantage of an out-of-form United?
Leicester City are coming off a 3-0 loss to Tottenham last Sunday in a match which was very important for the foxes. This defeat now leaves Leicester City in 5th place with 62 points. Leicester really has no other option other than winning this match if they want to make Champions League. It is going to be extremely hard and definitely the odds are against Leicester, but Leicester have been known to rise up against the odds and it could be a very interesting final day of the Premier League season.
The reverse fixture between these two sides ended in a 1-0 Manchester United victory. Marcus Rashford got a penalty in the 8th minute and converted it, other than that the match was pretty stale. I think that this match is going to be extremely tight and it is going to be hard to see either team win this one. United are low on confidence and they have not shown their best football as of late. Same with Leicester City, therefore, I predict this is going to be a draw, perhaps 0-0 or 1-1. Take the draw at +250.
