Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are clashing at Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in the UEFA Champions League finals.

Paris has been fantastic in the Champions League since it’s restart, and they absolutely deserve to win it, but in order to do that, PSG must make one more step forward, and it’s a big one. In their latest Champions League game against Leipzig, PSG has had 58% of ball possession, 9 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks, 6 big chances created, and high 90% of the correct passes. PSG has won this match 0-3. It’s not that Leipzig was bad in this match, PSG was just so much better. Icardi and Mbappe have both scored 5 goals for PSG in the Champions League this season, while Neymar added 3 goals and 4 assists. Mbappe also has 5 assists, while Di Maria added another 5 assists. Kurzawa is the only injured player for PSG. We know that PSG has an atomic offense, maybe even the best in the world with Neymar, Mbappe, and Di Maria, and not to mention Draxler, Icardi, and Sarabia on the bench, but their defense will be put to a huge test against Bayern who are equally good in the attacking end, maybe even more effective. This is the opportunity that PSG will probably never get again, and I think they are finally ready to make that final step and to win the Champions League.

Bayern is the best team in Europe at the moment, in my opinion of course. I don’t think there is a more complete team than Bayern out there, no one comes to mind. In their last three Champions League games, Bayern has scored massive 15 goals, while they have scored over 40 goals in the Champions League in total this season. Have in mind that they have played only 10 games in the Champions League. In their most recent Champions League game against Lyon a few days ago, Bayern was dominant with 66% of ball possession, 8 shots on goal, 6 corner kicks, 6 big chances created, and 88% o the correct passes. Bayern has won this match 0-3. I was reading in some tabloids that if Lyon scored those chances they had, the game would have gone in a different direction, and I completely disagree. I mean, common people, it wasn’t even close. If Lyon had scored a goal, that would have just fueled Bayern even more. Lewandowski has scored 15 goals and added 6 assists for Bayern in the Champions League, while Gnabry added 9 goals. Do you remember those days when players were scoring 5, 6, maybe 7 goals in the Champions League? The times have changed drastically. There are no injuries in Bayern as of right now. Same as PSG is ready to finally win the title, Bayern is as well, and they are a more complete team than PSG. I hope Bayern gets this trophy because they have deserved it with their fantastic soccer on both ends, especially in the attacking end.

This is truly going to be the clash of the titans, and I won’t even bother with their previous head to head games, or trends, or whatever. Bayern is the better team here, and I expect a lot of goals in this match, which is why I’m going to side with Bayern, and add something on goals.
