Bayern Munich and Sevilla are clashing at Ferenc Puskas Stadium in Hungary in the UEFA Super Cup Finals.

Bayern is the best team in Europe at the moment, and in the best form, by far. Bayern hasn’t lost a game since early January of this year. Bayern has also won the Champions League a month ago against PSG, while before that, Bayern has won another Bundesliga title. In the new Bundesliga season, Bayern was playing against Schalke in their opening game of the season, which turned out to be another practice for Bayern. With 62% of ball possession, 12 shots on goal, 9 corner kicks, 8 big chances created, and 89% of the correct passes, Bayern was dominant in this match, and they have deservedly won this match 8-0. To be honest, I was expecting Bayern to win, but not like this. Nianzou and Alaba are injured, while Coman is in quarantine. Since their first game of the season, Bayern has made another notable transfer, and that was Thiago leaving for Bayern for 33 million Euros. This transfer was a huge blow for Bayern because Thiago has been one of their best players over the last few seasons, but not to worry, Bayern has plenty of depth, and they will most certainly sign someone instead of Thiago. Bayern is once again the main favorite to win the Bundesliga title, and if they continue playing like this, the Champions League as well.

Sevilla is also in a fantastic form, and they haven’t lost a game since February of this year. Sevilla has won the Europa League last season after beating Inter 3-2 in the final match. With 70 points, 54 scored goals, and 34 conceded goals, Sevilla ended last season in 4th place, and they have qualified for the Champions League. Sevilla still didn’t play any of their games in LaLiga, but they have played a couple of friendly games in the preseason, and they have won both of those games. There are no injuries or suspensions in Sevilla as of right now. The biggest departure for Sevilla was Banega who left to play in Saudi Arabia, and he will certainly be missed, Sergio Rico left for PSG. Suso was signed permanently after spending last season on loan in Sevilla, while Rakitic arrived at Sevilla from Barcelona for only 1.65 million Euros. Sevilla’s core has remained the same as last season, and once again Sevilla will be fighting for one of the top 4 spots in LaLiga. Sevilla is doing a fantastic job, and they are constantly improving, and with a few more good signings, I believe Sevilla could be a legit competitor for the title in LaLiga.

Bayern is the favorite here, and it would be crazy if they weren’t, but I think Sevilla will have a say in this match. Seeing Bayern in their match against Schalke, I don’t think there are many teams that can stop them at the moment if any. I will side with Bayern and I will also add something on goals here.
