West Bromwich Albion F.C.and Chelsea face off in an English Premier League showdown on Saturday at The Hawthorns.
West Brom knows they have their work cutout for them if they don’t want to be relegated and coming into this game they still sit with zero points on the season. In the first game of the season West Brom faced off with Leicester City and it was ugly losing 3-0. In the second game it wasn’t much better against Everton, a game they lost 5-2. West Brom scored two goals in that game which was a positive, but they gave up five goals. West Brom actually has to feel lucky that they were able to score two goals, because they only had 28 percent of the possession in that game, West Brom’s defense allowed 17 shots with seven of those going on goal. Grady Diangana actually started the scoring in that game with a goal in the 10th minute Kieran Gibbs was given a red card in the 45th minute so he will be missing this game.
Chelsea has dreams of winning the league but they need to play a lot better than they did in the last game against Liverpool, a game they lost 2-0 in. Andreas Christensen picked up a red card in stoppage time in the first half and the team were overmatched in the second half. To start the Premier League season Chelsea played Burnley and there was really no doubt they were coming away with a victory, and they came out on top 3-1. The team had three different goal scorers in that game including Kurt Zouma who put a goal in the back on the net in the 66th minute. Chelsea had a midweek game in the third round of the EFL Cup, and in that game they won 6-0.
Chelsea is a strong offensive team and they are going to have no issue running up the score against West Brom. Even if West Brom doesn’t score, it’s not going to matter, this game is going to go over three goals.
