Juventus is welcoming Napoli to Allianz Stadium in another derby in round 3 in the Italian Serie A.

Juventus is still undefeated in Serie A with 1 win and 1 draw in their first two games of the season. With 4 points, 5 scored goals, and 2 conceded goals, Juventus is in 6th place in the standings. In their latest Serie A match against Roma on the road, Juventus has had 60% of ball possession, 3 shots on goal, 7 corner kicks, 3 big chances created, and a solid 88% of the correct passes. Juventus was losing twice in this match 1-0 and 2-1, and they even conceded a red card in the 62nd minute, but despite that, Juventus was able to tie the score in the 69th minute. The final score of this match was 2-2. De Ligt, Bernardeschi, and Sandro are all injured, while Rabiot is suspended because of the red card. Ronaldo has already scored 3 goals in two games for Juventus, and I think he will have another great season. Ramsey and Danilo each added 1 assist. Once again this season, Juventus’ main goal is to try and win the Champions League while the Serie A is coming second, but with the new and inexperienced coach at the helm, Juventus will have a tough time in accomplishing either of those things.

Napoli is on a 4-game winning streak, and they still haven’t conceded a goal in Serie A this season. With 6 points, 8 scored goals, and 0 conceded goals, Napoli is at the top of the standings. In their latest Serie A match against Genoa at home, Napoli was fantastic with 57% of ball possession, 9 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks,4 big chances created, and high 93% of the correct passes. Napoli was absolutely brilliant in this match, and they have deservedly won this match 6-0. Mertens and Lozano have scored 2 goals each for Napoli so far this season, while Elmas, Insigne, Zielinski, and Politano have each added 1 goal. Mertens has added 2 assists, while Di Lorenzo, Zielinski, Osimhen, and Hysaj added 1 assist each. Insigne is the only injured player for Napoli as of right now, while Malcuit, Ciciretti, and Younes are all still questionable. Napoli wasn’t as bad last season as their position in the table shows, but once they got used to coach Gattuso’s ideas and demands, Napoli was playing well, and that has continued this season as well. Napoli hasn’t conceded a goal in their last 4 games, and if they can play this well for most of the season, Napoli just might be in the race for the title.

Napoli has had some success against Juventus on the road, not a lot, but some, and if they are going to beat Juventus again on the road, it will be now when they are playing the best defense in the league. I will side with Napoli on the road in this one.
