Liverpool has found a lot of success this season and coming into this game they have 20 points which puts them in second place of the English Premier League. Liverpool have dealt with all kinds of injuries this season, but they have still found a lot of success inside the Premier League. The problem for Liverpool is they are coming off a Champions League game that had to have left a sour taste in their mouth. Liverpool couldn’t put any goals in the back of the net against Atalanta and that led to a 2-0 loss. The previous Premier League game for Liverpool was against Leicester City and it was a game they won 3-0. Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino both put goals in the back of the net and in this game it’s going to be all about the pressure with the offense. 

Brighton has been ultra-inconsistent this year and coming into this game they sit in 16th place with nine points. Brighton hadn’t won in five games heading into the last game against Aston Villa, but they were able to squeak out a big victory. Danny Welbeck opened up the scoring against Brighton in the 12th minute and even though they gave up a goal, it was another goal in the 56th minute by Solly March that was able to lock up the victory. Bright only had three shots on target in that game but two went in the back of the net. Brighton isn’t an elite offensive team and if they want to win this game they are going to need to find a way to score a few goals, even if it’s on the counter-attack.
