Inter is hosting Torino at Giuseppe Meazza in round 32 in Italian Serie A.

Inter has lost the grip on their game as of late, and with 2 games without a win, I think their title race is over. Anything is possible as Juventus is also without a win in their last 2 games, but I just don’t see Inter catching up again. In their last two games in Serie A, Inter has 1 loss and 1 draw, alongside 3 scored goals and 4 conceded goals. Overall, Inter has scored solid 65 goals this season, while conceding 33 goals. With 65 points, Inter is in 4th place in the standings, the last spot that leads into the Champions League. In their last game against Verona on the road, Inter has had 58% of ball possession, 6 shots on goal, 5 corner kicks, and 79% of the correct passes. This was an exciting match where we saw 4 goals and plenty more chances. This match ended in a 2-2 draw. Lukaku has scored 20 goals for Inter this season, while Martinez added 12 goals. Antonio Candreva has 7 assists. Sensi, Moses, and Barella are all injured and will not be in the lineup. Inter hasn’t lost many games this season, just 4, but they do have 8 draws, and that is where Inter lost too many precious points, and I’m afraid it cost them the title.

Torino has been struggling massively, but they were able to win two games since the restart, alongside 3 losses and 1 draw. Torino is in 15th place with 34 points, and even though they are outside the relegation zone now, Torino is still in big danger because they are only 7 points away from the relegation zone. In their last Serie A game against Brescia at home, Torino was playing well, and they had 56% of ball possession, 8 shots on goal, 6 corner kicks, and 83% of the correct passes. After losing 0-1 at the half-time, Torino came back to the field determined to win this game, and they did. Torino has scored 3 goals in the second half and has won this match 3-1. In the attacking end, Torino was struggling, and they have scored only 37 goals so far, but the good news is that Torino scored at least one goal in every one of their last 6 games since the restart. Torino’s defense hasn’t been good this season, and they conceded 57 goals in 31 games. Belotti is Torino’s top goalscorer with 14 goals, while Verdi added 4 assists. Baselli is injured, while Zaza is suspended because of the yellow cards. I believe that Torino has enough quality in their roster and that they can play decent soccer, and for that reason, I see Torino in Serie A next season as well.

Torino has lost 7 away games in a row, and while Inter hasn’t won any of their last two home games against Torino, I just can’t side with Torino here because they are terrible on the road. Torino might score a goal here because they were consistent on that end, but I see Inter finally getting a win here.
