Udinese is welcoming Juventus to Dacia Arena in round 35 in Italian Serie A.

Udinese is in 16th place with 36 points, 7 points outside the relegation zone, but with 4 games left to be played this season, Udinese is still in danger of being relegated. With only 32 scored goals so far this season, Udinese is one of the weakest offensive teams in Serie A, but their defense has been decent with 48 conceded goals, far from the worst defensive teams in Serie A. with a  few good results after the restart, Udinese was able to keep themselves afloat, but Udinese hasn’t won any of their last 3 games in Serie A. in their most recent match against Napoli on the road, Udinese has had low 32% of ball possession, 3 shots on goal, 3 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and solid 80% of the correct passes. Udinese got ahead in the 22nd minute, but just 9 minutes later, Udinese has conceded a goal, and the first half ended in a 1-1 draw. In the second half, Udinese was defending well, until the 95th minute when they lost focus and conceded a goal. Udinese has lost this match 2-1. Lasagna is Udinese’s top goalscorer with 10 goals. Seko Fofana added 7 assists. Prodl, Mandragora, Jajalo, and Teodorczyk are all injured and will not play in this match. I think that Udinese will stay in Serie A because both Genoa and Lecce are playing worse soccer and they are under bigger pressure.

After 3 games without a win in Serie A, Juventus has finally won a game, and with that, they stayed 6 points ahead of Atalanta. Juventus is int eh first place in the standings with 80 points, high 72 scored goals, and only 36 conceded goals, which makes them the best defensive team in Serie A. the fantastic news for Juventus is that Ronaldo is back to being his old self and scoring a ton of goals. Ronaldo now shares the top goal scorer spot in Serie A with Immobile, and they both have 30 goals. Dybala added 11 goals so far. Bentancur and Dybala both have 7 assists. Khedira, De Sciglio, and Chiellini are injured, while Bonucci is suspended because of the yellow cards. In their last Serie A game against Lazio at home, Juventus was the better team with 54% of ball possession, high 8 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks, 4 big chances created, and 88% of the correct passes. Juventus and Lazio were measuring each other in the first half, and we didn’t see any goals, while the second half started great. In the 51st minute, Ronaldo scored a penalty kick, and just 3 minutes after, Ronaldo added another goal. In the 83rd minute, Immobile scored a goal for Lazio from another penalty kick, but it wasn’t enough for them to get a positive result out of this match. Juventus has deservedly won this match 2-1. Juventus has been struggling a bit last week, but now they are back on the winning track, and just in time to defend the title and to beat Lyon in the Champions League in a couple of weeks.

Udinese hasn’t won any of their last 6 games against Juventus, and I think it will stay that way. Udinese showed some signs of life in their last game, but Juventus is a different kind of beast. I will stick with Juventus.
