Belgium is hosting Croatia at King Baudouin Stadium in the International Friendly matchup. Belgium is one of the best teams in Europe, and they are one of the biggest favorites to win the upcoming Euro Cup. Croatia has been struggling a bit over the last year, but once again, they will be the dark horse of the upcoming Euro Cup.

Belgium has been on solid form, and they are undefeated in their last 8 games while winning 6 of those 8 games. In their 3 World Cup qualifications games, Belgium has scored12 goals while conceding only 2 goals. A few days ago, Belgium was playing in a friendly game against Greece, and that game has ended in a 1-1 draw. When we look at Belgium’s roster, it looks really, really good, and with Lukaku, Hazard, and Mertens in the attacking end, Belgium is a force to be reckoned with. As far as their midfield goes, Belgium is pretty good there as well, but they will be without De Bruyne in this game who is still injured from the Champions League finals. In my mind, Belgium is the top favorite to win the Euro Cup because they are playing great soccer, and they are scoring a ton of goals.

After 3 losses in a row and 5 games without a win, Croatia was able to go on a more positive streak, and they are now undefeated in their last 3 games while winning 2 of those 3 games. In their last friendly game against Armenia, Croatia wasn’t at their best on either end, and that game has ended in a 1-1 draw. The two games Croatia has won were against Cyprus and Malta, not the strongest opponents, but a win is a win I guess. As far as the Euro Cup goes, Croatia is not a big favorite at all, they are even below Denmark, which is pretty disrespectful towards the team that was playing in the World Cup finals 3 years ago, but that only means there is no pressure on the team. With Modric leading this team, Kramaric and Perisic in the attacking end, and an experienced defensive pair in Lovren and Vida, Croatia will not be the team that everyone can beat, and England will be the first one to see that next Sunday. At the moment, Croatia is struggling with scoring goals even though they are creating a lot of chances, but they always get going when the time is right, and the Euro Cup is the right time.

Both teams have won 2 games against each other while 1 game ended in a draw, but I will take the over in this one because neither defense is still playing on the level they should, but both teams can certainly be dangerous in the attacking end, especially Belgium.
