Barcelona is hosting Getafe at Camp Nou in round 3 of the Spanish LaLiga. Barcelona is undefeated in their first two games of the season, and overall, they have looked well. Getafe has lost both of their games so far, and they still haven’t scored a goal.

Barcelona has problems with injuries at the moment, and Fati, Ter Stegen, Pique, and a few others are on the list, but they also have a suspended player because of the red card, and that is Eric Garcia. The first half was just horrible for Barcelona, they were terrible on the defensive, and the only reason why they weren’t losing by a goal or two was because Bilbao couldn’t score a goal. At the start of the second half, Barcelona has conceded a goal, but they were able to tie the game in the 75^th minute. The final result of this match was 1-1, but Garcia has also conceded a red card. Barcelona is looking well so far this season, but once again, I think the defense will be their biggest problem.

As I’ve mentioned, Getafe has lost both of their games so far this season, and both were 0-1. In their most recent match against Sevilla at home, Getafe has had only 39% of ball possession, 0 shots on goal, 5 corner kicks, 0 big chances created, and 72% of the correct passes. This was a rough game where Getafe was defending well, but they have conceded a goal at the very end of the game, and they ended up losing this match 0-1. There are no injuries or suspensions in Getafe as of right now. When we take a look at their roster, Getafe has some great players, they are solid on the defensive end, but they are struggling with scoring goals, as we can see from their start of the season. Getafe has barely escaped the relegation zone last season, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the same thing happens this season.

When playing at home, Barcelona hasn’t lost to Getafe in their last 18 games, and they are on a 3-game winning streak at home. Barcelona is the better team here, they have more depth, and they have scored more goals at the start of this season. I’m siding with Barcelona and the goals in this one.
