Estonia vs. Belgium 9/2/21 European World Cup Qualifications Soccer Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Estonia is hosting Belgium at A. Le Coq Arena in round 4 of Group E of the World Cup Qualifications. Estonia is one of the weakest teams in Europe, but they have somehow managed to win their last 3 games in a row. Belgium was one of the favorites to win the Euro Cup, but they have had a disappointing tournament, and they got knocked out by Italy.

As I’ve mentioned, Estonia is on a 3-game winning streak, but they are in the last place of this group with 0 points, and they will not be qualifying for the World Cup. Offensively, Estonia has been solid in these qualifications with 4 scored goals in 2 games, but their defense has been a disaster with 10 conceded goals. Anier has scored 3 goals for Estonia so far, while Sappinen has added 1 goal. It seems that Estonia is slowly improving, and I mean slowly, but progress has been made. There is just no way Estonia will qualify for the World Cup, and I think they will be lucky if they don’t end these qualifications in the last place.

Belgium is at the top of this group with 7 points, an impressive 12 scored goals, and only 2 conceded goals. Vanaken, Lukaku, and Trossard have each scored 2 goals for Belgium in these qualifications, while a bunch of other players scored 1 goal. As I’ve mentioned above, Belgium was one of the favorites to win the Euro Cup, and they started well, but their offense wasn’t as good as it should have been. After getting through the group stage, Belgium was facing Italy, and they got knocked out. After the Euro Cup, Belgium has extended the cooperation with coach Martinez, and I think that is a good thing because he has done an incredible job with this team, and they are not yet done. Belgium is a fantastic team, and when healthy, they are playing some of the best soccer in the world. I’m sure Belgium will win this group, they will qualify for the World Cup, and they will once again be the favorites.

Estonia has beaten Belgium only once, and that was back in 2009, and I just don’t see that happening here. Belgium has scored a ton of goals, they have been solid defensively, while Estonia hasn’t. I’m taking Belgium and the goals.
