Leicester City and Manchester City face off on Saturday in an English Premier League soccer showdown at King Power Stadium. These two teams faced off in August in the FA Community Shield, and Leicester City came away with the 1-0 victory. 

Manchester City currently sits in 7th place in the standings having picked up six points. Manchester City lost their first game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur but they have rebounded with two big wins. Manchester City beat Norwich City 5-0 and again against Arsenal 5-0. Ferran Torres and Gabriel Jesus both scored two goals in the last game. Manchester City had 25 shots and 10 of those went on goal. In this game for Manchester City, it’s all going to be about the offense running up the score. Look for Manchester City to push the numbers forward to put the pressure on Leicester City. 

On the other side of this matchup is Leicester City who sits in 9th place in the standings having picked up six points. Leicester City can’t be very happy with how they have played so far this season but they are coming off a win against Norwich City. Jamie Vardy opened up the scoring the 8th minute and then Marc Albrighton added another goal in the 76th minute to lock up the victory. The defense at times this season has been a little suspect and if they want any chance to get the job done in this game, the defense is going to need to be a lot better. 

Leicester City’s defense is a big issue, and Manchester City is going to take advantage. I also expect Leicester City is going to find some offensive success and this game is going to go well over the total. I will take the over 3.5 goals at +180 for extra value.
