Leeds United and Liverpool face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Elland Road. These two teams last faced off in April and the game was played to a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool currently sits in 7th place in the standings having picked up seven points so far this year. Liverpool opened up their season with two straight wins, before playing to a draw in their last game against Chelsea. On the season, Liverpool has only given up one goal, and in this game the defense is going to need to be good. In the last game, Liverpool had 24 shots with seven on goal, but only one went in the back of the net. Liverpool is probably disappointed they only picked up a goal and they need to find a way to get more offense going in this game.  

On the other side of this matchup is Leeds United who sit in 17th place having picked up two points. Leeds United lost their first game of the season before playing to back-to-back draws against Everton and Burnley. In the last game against Burnley the offense managed one goal and it came in the 86th minute by Patrick Bramford. Bramford is the best player on this team and they are probably going to need a goal or two by him in this game. 

Liverpool is the better team and even on the road, they are going to have no issues getting the job done. Leeds United’s offense isn’t good, and I don’t think they are going to magically improve in this game. Liverpool will score a couple of goals and win this game on the money line.
