Juventus is welcoming Milan to Allianz Stadium in a Derby della Mole of round 4 of the Italian Serie A. Juventus is having one of the worst starts to the season in a long time, but they are a big team, and I think they will pull through. Milan is attacking the title this season, and they have started well, with 3 straight wins.

Juventus hasn’t won any of their first 3 games in Serie A so far this season, but they have won their Champions League game earlier this week, and that could be the boost they needed. Juventus was dominant in that game against Malmo on the road with 60% of ball possession, 8 shots on goal, 3 corner kicks, 7 big chances created, and a high 89% of the correct passes. Juventus took this game very seriously, and they have scored 3 goals in the first half, which was enough for a 0-3 win. In Serie A, Juventus has scored only 3 goals in their first 3 games, and they are in 16th place with 1 point. Dybala, Cuadrado, and Morata have each scored 1 goal. The schedule is not easy for Juventus, but they have a good coach, they have a solid depth, and they will get back on track soon.

Milan has been impressive in Serie A so far despite losing their goalkeeper, and they have conceded only 1 goal in their first 3 games. With 9 points, 7 scored goals, and only 1 conceded goal, Milan is in 3rd place, and they could take over the top with a win in this game. Giroud and Leao have each scored 2 goals for Milan in Serie A, while Rebic has added 2 assists. Ibrahimovic has missed their game in the Champions League, but he should be ready for this game. In their game against Liverpool on the road earlier this week, Milan has had 39% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 2 corner kicks, 3 big chances created, and 78% of the correct passes. Despite being forced to defend, Milan was leading 1-2 at halftime, but Liverpool has quickly turned the score around in the second half. Milan ended up losing this game 2-3. Milan is my favorite to win the title in Italy this season, and think they have enough depth and quality to do that, but I’m not sure if they can do it while playing in the Champions League at the same time.

As I’ve mentioned, this is one of the biggest derbies in Italy, and it will be a good one. To me, everything is pointing towards Milan, but I think that win in the Champions League will give Juventus a nice push forward. I will take the goals in this one.
