Chelsea and Manchester City face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge. In May of 2021 these two teams faced off, Chelsea came away with the 1-0 victory.

Manchester City is known as an offensive team and over their last two games in the EPL they have scored only one goal. In the last game against Southampton, Manchester City only had one shot on goal, Manchester City has scored 11 goals while their defense has given up only one goal. Ferran Torres has been the top player scoring only two goals total. In this game for Manchester City, they are going to need to put more quality chances on goal. 

I expect both teams are going to struggle to score in this game, and that is going to lead to a very low-scoring game. I expect both teams are going to be very afraid of the other team’s offense, and that will lead to defensive shapes by both teams. Look for Chelsea and Manchester City to stay under the total.
