Arsenal vs. Tottenham 9/26/21 Premier League Soccer Pick, Odds, and Predictions

Arsenal and Tottenham face off on Sunday in the North London derby at Emirates Stadium. These two faced off in a friendly back in August and Tottenham won 1-0. 

Arsenal has gotten out to a very slow start and they currently sit in 14th place with only six points picked up.  Even though they got out to a slow start, they are playing better as of late winning their last two games. In the last game against Burnley, the offense still wasn’t all that great scoring only one goal, but that was still enough as they came away with the 1-0 victory. Arsenal on the season has scored only two goals, while their defense has given up nine goals. If Arsenal wants to win this game, they need to find a way to get more scoring chances and get the first goal early.

On the other side of this matchup is Tottenham Hotspur who sits in 8th place in the standings having picked up nine points. Tottenham got out to a fast start to the season, but they have been struggling their last few games. Two games ago against Crystal Palace they lost 3-0 and in the last game Chelsea it was much of the same as they lost 3-0. Tottenham on the season has scored three goals while their defense has given up six goals. Son Heung-Min has been the top player this season putting up two goals. 

These are two teams who aren’t great offensive teams, and I expect goals are going to be very hard to come by for both teams in this game. Look for only a goal or two to be scored, and the under will cash. I don’t love either side and would stay away from a side bet.
