Crystal Palace and Brighton face off on Monday in an English Premier League showdown at Selhurst Park Stadium. When these two teams faced off in February, Crystal Palace won 2-1.

Brighton has won two games in a row, including the last game against Leicester City, which was quite impressive. Neal Maupay and Danny Welbeck were the goal scorers in that game. Brighton has scored seven goals while their defense has given up four goals. Neal Maupay has been the best player for Brighton scoring three goals so far this year. 

Crystal Palace has had some issues so far this year sitting with five points which puts them in 15th place. Even though Crystal Palace has struggled, two games ago against Tottenham they were able to come away with the 3-0 victory. In the last game against Liverpool, the defense struggled, and they lost 3-0. Crystal Palace on the season has scored five goals total while their defense has given up eight goals. Conor Gallagher has been the best player for Crystal Palace scoring two goals and adding an assist. In this game, Crystal Palace needs the defense to be strong and to try and make this a low-scoring game.

Crystal Palace’s defense has been worse, and that will be the case again in this game. Brighton is going to get out to the fast start with their offense, and this should be an easy win for them. I expect Brighton will score two or three goals.
