Newcastle has had some major issues this season and they currently sit in 19th place having picked up three points. Newcastle hasn’t won a ton of games, but they have scored one goal in each of the last four games. In the last game against the Wolves, the defense gave up two goals. Newcastle has scored eight goals total while the defense has given up 16 goals. Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson have both put two goals in the back of the net. The offense has been pretty consistent but the defense has been an issue and if they want to have a chance in this game, the defense is going to need to be better. If they give up two or three goals, they will have no chance to win this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Tottenham Hotspur who sits in 8th place in the standings having picked up 12 points. Tottenham have had some major issues this season for their standard, but they are coming off a big win in their last game.In the last game against Aston Villa, it was an own goal in the 71st minute that wrapped up their 2-1 victory. Tottenham has scored only six goals this season while the defense is giving up 10 goals. Son Heung-Min has been the best player for Tottenham Hotspur scoring three goals and one assist. 

Tottenham hasn’t been a good offensive team this season, and I don’t expect either offense is going to run up the score. Look for a 1-0 or 1-1 type of game. Newcastle is a team that might be worth looking at to pull the upset, and throwing a few dollars on them makes sense. The official play is with the under to cash.
