As I’ve mentioned, Roma is now in a slump, and it seems that the honeymoon period for Roma and Mourinho is now over. Roma is without a win in their last 3 games. Despite this sloppy form, Roma is still a top 4 team with 16 points, and they are in 4^th place. In a derby against Napoli this past weekend, Roma has had only 38% of ball possession, 1 shot on goal, 7 corner kicks, 3 big chances created, and 80% of the correct passes. Roma has had their chances to get ahead in this game, but so did Napoli. Both defenses were solid, and the final score was 0-0. Pellegrini and Veretout are still the leading goalscorers for Roma with 4 goals each. Pellegrini has also added 3 assists. I know Roma is a good team, and we know they can score a lot of goals, they just need to get their mojo back. in a few days, Roma will be playing against Milan at home, and this game against Cagliari is the perfect warm-up for them to get back in form.

The trends are heavily on Roma’s side, and there is no way in hell I’m taking Cagliari here. Roma is the better team, and I don’t think their bad form will matter here because Cagliari is that bad.
