Despite having more possession, Cadiz was terrible, and nothing was going their way. As I’ve mentioned, Cadiz is not scoring a lot, and Lozano is their leading goalscorer with 4 goals. Garrido, Jose, Calderon, and Osmajic are all injured for Cadiz. This will be a very hard and long season for Cadiz, but the good news is there are a couple of teams worse than them, and that could help them stay in LaLiga.

Atletico has won only 1 of their last 4 games, and after that loss to Milan earlier this week, Atletico has sunk to the last place of that group, but they could still qualify if they beat Porto and if Milan losses to Liverpool. Atletico wasn’t great in that game against Milan, they have had 42% of ball possession, 2 corner kicks, 1 big chance created, and 77% of the correct passes. Atletico hasn’t shown anything in this game despite being the home team, and despite needing a win. Atletico has conceded a goal in the 87^th minute, and they ended up losing this match 0-1. As far as LaLiga goes, Atletico is now in 4^th place with 26 points, and they are only 4 points away from the top, but their biggest problem so far this season is their defense. Atletico is not playing solid on the defensive end, and for a team that has been known by that for a long time, it’s strange to see them conceding so many goals. Suarez is still the leading goalscorer for Atletico with 7 goals, while Correa added 3 goals and 3 assists. Atletico will have one more chance to save their Champions League season, but they no longer depend only on themselves.

Cadiz has had plenty of success against Atletico at home, but they are in such a bad form that I’m not willing to give them a look here. Atletico is solid in the attacking end, while Cadiz’s defense is bad. I’m taking Atletico Madrid.
