England is welcoming Czech Republic to Wembley Stadium in round 3 of Group D in the Euro Cup 2021. Czech Republic is at the top of this group at the moment, and they will most likely be advancing to the next stage. Despite all of their offensive firepower, England is struggling with scoring goals, and they are in second place with 4 points.

Czech Republic is at the top of this group, quite surprisingly I might add, and whether they win or lose in this match, Czech Republic will be going through to the next stage. Czech Republic was playing against Croatia in their round 2 games, and they have had 51% of ball possession, 1 shot on goal, 4 corner kicks, 1 big chance created, and 79% of the correct passes. The first half was great for Czech Republic, but in the second half they slowed down for some reason, and this game has ended in a 1-1 draw. Patrik Schick has been in great form in this tournament so far, and he has scored 3 goals so far. Coufal has added 1 assist. Czech Republic has shown some good stuff in this tournament, especially in their first game, but if they want to stay at the top of this group, I think Czech Republic will need to have their best performance yet in this match.

England was the biggest favorite to win the Euro Cup according to bookies, but in my mind, they were not in the top 3 even. England has a ton of offensive firepower, but they have been struggling a lot with scoring goals, and I think their coach should be blamed the most for that. The only goalscorer for England so far in this tournament is Sterling with 1 goal. England is in 2nd place in this group with 4 points, but they can still end up 3rd or 1st, but each of those spots will get them to the next stage. In their last game against Scotland at home, England has had 60% of ball possession, 1 shot on goal, 6 corner kicks, 3 big chances created, and 89% of the correct passes. Honestly, this was the most boring game I have seen in this tournament, and it ended in a 0-0 draw. England also has a couple of Covid cases, but they have the depth and the quality on the bench to replace those players without having to worry about it. I know that English fans are saying the trophy is coming home, but I just don’t see it. England is playing without urgency, they are sloppy in the attacking end, and I think it’s only a matter of time before it costs them.

Czech Republic has beaten England at home 2 years ago, while England has won that matchup in the reverse fixture. There is no doubt England is the team with better players here, but Czech Republic is a scrappy team that could give them a hard time, and I think they will. We are not getting a good price on England, but it will take it because I think they will finally win a game at home.
