Inter is welcoming Torino to Giuseppe Meazza in round 19 of the Italian Serie A. Inter is on fire right now, they are scoring a ton of goals, and they are at the top of the table in Serie A. Torino is a decent team, but only at home. Torino on the road is not a great team, and they have only 1 win so far.

Inter has extended their winning streak in Serie A to 6 games after they have beaten Salernitana this past weekend, and they are now looking to go further by beating Torino. Inter also hasn’t conceded a goal in their last 5 Serie A games, while they scored 16 goals during the same stretch. With 43 points, Inter is now in 1st place in the standings, and they are also the best offensive team in the league with 48 scored goals. Lautaro Martinez is now the leading goalscorer for Inter with 11 goals, while Dzeko added 8 goals. Calhanoglu and Barella have each added 7 assists. The only injured player for Inter is Correa, but he is getting close to recovery. Inter has won the title last season, and they look determined to defend that title this season, but we will see once the Champions League is back if Inter can compete in two competitions.

Torino is great at home where they are scoring goals, they are winning points, and at home, Torino can beat anyone, but on the road, that’s a different story. Torino has only 1 win in 8 games, and they have scored only 4 goals on the road so far this season. overall, Torino has scored 23 goals, which isn’t bad at all, now if only they could start scoring more goals on the road their season would be great. The good news for Torino is they are undefeated in their last 4 Serie A games, but they did lose in Coppa Italia last week. The injury list in Torino is short, but Verdi and Belotti are two of their best players, and they will miss them dearly. Pobega is the leading goalscorer for Torino with 4 goals, while Pjaca and Brekalo added 3 goals each. I think Torino could use a break, and luckily for them, one is coming after this game. I don’t think Torino will have any problems staying in Serie A but playing this bad on the road won’t help them qualify for the Conference League, or possibly the Europa League.

The trends are heavily on Inter’s side in this matchup, and I think they will win this game. Torino is a weak team on the road, and they are not scoring goals. I’m siding with Inter at home in this one.
